Mariangela Pagani, in Kearny crash Funeral services for Mrs. Mariangela Pagani, 84, of Kearny, who was fatally injured when struck by a car Saturday night, are scheduled for Wednesday. Mrs. Pagani was injured shortly after 7 p.m. at Devon Terrace and Davis Avenue, and was taken to West Hudson Hospital where she died two hours later, police said.

No charges have been filed in the accident. A native of Italy, Mrs. Pagani lived in Canada before moving to Kearny 46 years ago. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Cecilia's Church, Kearny.

A Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Cecilia's Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Shaw Home for Funerals, Kearny. Adam Selger A self-employed North Bergen Auto Parts dealer, Adam Selger, 79, of Secaucus, who died Friday at the Riverside General Hospital, Secaucus, will be buried tomorrow in Grove Church Cemetery, North Bergen.

Mr. Selger was born in North Bergen and had resided 35 years in Secaucus. He started Adams Auto Parts Shop 44 years ago. A pigeon enthusiast, Mr. Selger was a member of the North Hudson Pigeon Club.

Williams, headed Guttenberg Savings A 9:30 a.m. Mass will be offered Wednesday at St. John Nepomucene Church, Guttenberg, for Joseph R. Williams, 58, former vice chairman of the Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission, who died Saturday at Englewood Hospital, Englewood. A native of Guttenberg, Mr.

Williams was a graduate of St. Joseph's Parochial School, St. Joseph's High, and a graduate of the New York and the American Savings and Loan Institute. Mr. Williams was a president of Guttenberg Savings and Loan Association.

He joined Guttenberg Savings in 1937. as a staff member and was elected president in 1960. During World War II. Mr. Williams served five years with 2nd Armored Division and was decorated for his heroic efforts with Purple Heart, the Bronze Star with two oak leaf clusters.

Mr. Williams was a member of the Grand Jury Association of Hudson County, had served on the executive board of the Hamilton Council Boy Scouts of America, and was on the board of the directors of the Pavonia Girl Scout Council. "He was past president of the Hudson County Savings League. served on the board of directors of the New Jersey Savings League and the Advisory Board of First Jersey National Bank. Mr.

Williams was past president of the Central Corporation of New Jersey, a financial investment institution comprised of Savings and Loan Association throughout New Jersey and a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Williams served on the Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission for three and a half years and was vice chairman during the year the Master Plan for the Meadowlands area, including the Sports Complex, was announced and adopted. Mr. Williams was moving force in encouraging the New Jersey, rather than the New York Bank Industry to support "the at financing of the Sports Complex.

William D. McDowell. Executive Director of the Hackensack a Meadowland Development Commission, spoke of Williams as "a one-man sentry protecting the public interest in every possible area concerning this commission and its staff activities. His integrity was highly regarded and respected by all of us." Anthony Gianantonio, a member of the Guttenberg Savings Board of Directors commenting on his death, said, "In the entire history of our institution no one man was more instrumental in its growth and stability, than Mr. Williams.

Fahy United Press International Msgr. Thomas G. Fahy, the 14th president of Seton Hall University, was buried in Jersey City this weekend following services attended by Gov. Brendan T. Byrne and other top state officials and academic leaders.

Archbishop Peter L. Gerety of the Newark Archdiocese and 150 other priests celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial for Msgr. Fahy, who died of a heart attack in his room on the campus of the university in South Orange Tuesday. He had been back at his post for less than a week following convalescene from a heart attack he suffered last July. Bishop John D.

Dougherty, a former president of the university, said in his eulogy that Msgr. Fahy's "priestly and professional life served a cause. That cause was Seton Hall. lived for Seton Hall and there he died." In addition to Gov. Byrne.

Sen. Harrison A. Williams, and state Commissioner of Higher Education Ralph Dungan were among some 1,000 mourners who filled Sacred Heart Cathedral in Newark for the Mass. After the services, the funeral procession wound its way through downtown Newark past the Seton Hall University Law School Center on Raymond a $4.5 million complex which opened last May, on its way to Holy Name Cemetery here.
